SendHope: Strengthening our Communities

As a funeral provider for the last two decades, we see firsthand the devastating sadness and sorrow experienced from the loss of a life. We are committed to providing uplifting and consoling ways to celebrate that life well lived through curated sendoffs that are truly personal and inspiring. But then, we choose to take it a step further… 

At SendOff, we feel a social responsibility to support solutions that strengthen our communities. That’s why we’ve created SendHope - our ‘Give Back for Good’ initiative.

All too often we see the heartbreak of loss of a loved one to cancer and mental health crises, and we feel connected to supporting local organizations that are committed to these causes. Sophie’s Squad and Children’s Cancer Research Fund are two organizations that do just that.  With a caring heart we commit to making a donation, in honor of the loved one, to one of these Sendoff partners. 

Sophie’s Squad: Mental Health Awareness

There’s always hope. There’s always help.

That’s the mantra of locally-based Sophie’s Squad, a nonprofit organization committed to improving and raising awareness of mental health issues, while removing the stigma of reaching out for help.

Children’s Cancer Research Fund

The mission is simple: supporting innovative and promising research that will one day cure childhood cancer.

However, the work is not so simple and it requires significant resources. More data is needed for preventative measures, and more access to cutting edge care is critical to achieving their goal.

Together, we believe it’s ‘all hands on deck’ to support these local partners’ work, and we are honored to lend a hand through our SendHope give back initiative.
