Patricia Mae Hanson (Robideau)

Age 98 of Edina. Loving Mom, Grandma & Great-Grandma, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025.

Preceded in death by husband, Raymond; son, Terry; daughter-in-law, Mary; her granddaughter; parents, Raymond & Aurelia Robideau; brothers, Richard Robideau, Allen Robideau, James Robideau. Survived by children, Jim (Donna), Penny (Hugh) Hestad; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Patricia grew up on a farm in Princeton, Minnesota, where she learned the value of hard work, and the importance of a close knit family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who found her greatest joy in time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren will fondly remember the songs she sang and the poems she wrote just for them. Known for her corny sense of humor, Patricia delighted in making others smile. She was a Scrabble extraordinaire who rarely met her match and also enjoyed playing bingo. Her sharp wit and playful spirit stayed with her well into her later years. Patricia retired from Northwest Airlines, where she built lasting friendships that grew into lifelong bonds with cherished girlfriends. These relationships remained an important and joyful part of her life. Summers were spent at the family cabin on Clitherall Lake with her beloved husband, Raymond. In the winter months, Patricia and Raymond enjoyed time in Arizona. Patricia will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, her love of words and games, and the deep love she held for her family and friends.

Patricia’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service & games from 12-3 PM Friday, February 27th with the memorial service starting at 12:30 PM at Punch Bowl Social, 1691 Park Pl Blvd, St. Louis Park. A luncheon will be served. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
