Wendy Brown is a trained and certified end-of-life doula through the International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA) and through the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA). She has gained insightful perspective through her work with clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as through time spent in Fairview Hospice, Heartland Hospice, N.C. Little Hospice, and Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
She is one of the founding members of the Minnesota Death Collaborative, an invaluable resource for end-of-life support in Minnesota.
Wendy served as a doula to her mother who chose to use VSED, Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking, to hasten her death due to her Alzheimer’s disease. The experience has been featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune and with Cathy Wurzer on MPR, a selected top story on Minnesota Now, Best of 2023.
Wendy’s role as an end-of-life doula is one she holds with honor and humility. She regularly speaks about end-of-life and/or VSED doula support to local or out-of-state communities.

Inspired Journeys

Angela Woosley, M.A. (she/they) is a Minnesota-licensed mortician, celebrant, and end-of-life doula. They officiate celebrations of life across the state and invite folks into caring for their own through their funeral business, Inspired Journeys. Angela enjoys educating families about their natural deathcare options, listening to families’ stories, and creating meaningful memorials, vigils, and celebrations that truly honor the life of each individual. Angela lives in St. Paul with their loving spouse, devoted dog, and jealous cat.

A Better Ending
Rosie Gaston, MSW, LICSW, APHSW-C, is a hospice and palliative care social worker who utilizes a combination of counseling, case management, education, and advocacy to support families that are navigating end-of-life decisions. Rosie helps reduce stress by facilitating difficult conversations and provides education to help her clients complete a detailed and personalized advanced care plan that gives everyone peace of mind.
Julie is a fantastic partner for what is a very trying time for our clients. She helps usher people through the process with grace.
