“You are my rock,” or “Solid as a rock,” or even “Rock star.” These are some random phrases that came to mind when I first heard that cremated ashes can be turned into smooth stones.

I took a moment and visualized what it would be like if my ashes were metamorphosized this way, and I must say, it makes me smile.

The thought of being distributed to family and friends in such a beautiful and clean way really speaks to me. You become a memento, a small, tangible thing, that can be taken anywhere.

Keep me in a pant pocket to be carried around. Place me in a garden filled with flowers and ladybugs. Drop me in a fish tank to hang with Goldie the family fish. Wherever you imagine all the places you might go, the idea that your ashes can be transformed into unique stones is pretty inspirational.
