Debra Joy 'Dancing Deb' Clark
August 22, 1951 - March 20, 2023
Debra Joy “Dancing Deb” Clark passed away peacefully in Coon Rapids, MN on March 20th 2023.
Deb loved to listen and dance to zydeco music. She taught many classes on how to dance to the music and made many great friends during her dancing career. She also loved taking road trips around the country to see and experience the zydeco culture and other musical events. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, James and Amanda. She loved to follow them along on all of their music adventures like Marching Band, and the pepband at UMD. Deb also enjoyed going to hockey games with her son Jason, and spending time with her friends. She watched and supported many teams from High School to College and NHL. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ardie; father, Erv; son, Brian; brother, Lee. She leaves behind a son, Jason (Tami) Clark; granddaughter, Amanda (Chase) Clark; grandson, James (Dria) Clark; sister, Nancy (Steve) Mcdonald; brother, Kevin (Barb) Olson; sister, Karla Olson; sister-in-law, Colleen (Joe) Olson; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Deb’s Sendoff will be 12-4 PM Saturday, April 29th at the Wilderness Event Center, 1010 W. Lake St, Minneapolis, MN 55408.
