Gary Allen Peterson
April 21, 1948 - November 17, 2022
Our dearly beloved Gary Allen Peterson born on April 21, 1948, youngest son to Walter and Melvina Peterson. Gary passed away peacefully on November 17th surrounded by his children. His wit and positivity brought joy to everyone around him. Our fondest memories of Gary include farming, fishing, hunting, and playing cribbage.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Melvina (Olson) Peterson; and sister-in-law, Lois. Gary is survived by children, Jeremy (Erin) Peterson, Deb (Tony) Vannelli, Brier (John) Swing, Trista Peterson (Noah), Haleigh (Kyle) Clevenger, & Gavin Peterson; grandchildren, Keira (Oliver), Brayden (Alia), Torin, Hanna, Heidi, Hunter, Morgan, Luca, Anja, Aleisa, Liam, Quentin, Tucker, Beckett, Islee, Zaia; siblings, Dale (Neola), Dallen (Glennis), Marv (the late Lois), Lyle (Barb), Jim (Audrey), Linda (Kevin), Renita (Dave), & Renae (Scott); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 11 AM Friday, December 2nd with visitation beginning at 10 AM at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake in New London, MN. The service will be followed by burial with military honors and luncheon.
